The Local Education Authority Sets the Admissions Policy and Criteria

This gives parents the opportunity to express a preference about which school they wish their child to attend.

Bentley New Village  is a school for 3-11 year olds: there is a Nursery in the Foundation unit. Children receive full time education from the beginning of the school year in which they are 5 until they are 11 when they transfer to secondary school.  Our admission number is 50 per year group.  For information about admission into Bentley New Village Primary School, please see our Admissions Policy and Doncaster Council’s school admissions page on the links below.

Parents arriving in our catchment area with older children, or who are considering sending their children to the school for any other reason, are invited to contact the school to arrange a visit and discuss the admission with either the Head Teacher or our admissions officer, Mr A Lund.  No admissions to the school are made without first having a face-to-face meeting with either the Head Teacher, a member of the Senior Leadership team or Mr A Lund; a decision as to whether the school can meet the needs of the pupil applying to join the school will be shared, in writing, after this meeting. Admissions take place at the beginning of each half term

Parents considering sending their children to the school are welcome to telephone and make an appointment to view the school and meet the Head Teacher and/or Senior Leadership Team.
