Tolerance

Tolerance is the idea that we understand people in our community may believe different things to us,

Tolerance is about accepting other people’s right to believe in what they want to believe in and not impose our own beliefs on them

Tolerance is about not judging other people

Tolerance is about appreciating differences in people.

Cooperation

Cooperation is working together to get something done.

Cooperation is talking and agreeing how to do something

Cooperation is being helpful and doing your bit to sort something out. Children need to think about how they need to co-operate and work together as a team to achieve goals.

Co-operation is – teamwork, interacting and joining in,

Cooperation is listening and respecting each other,

Cooperation is lending each other a helping hand and not letting other people down

Cooperation is about trust, support and sharing each other’s ideas.

Creativity

Creativity is about producing new work or ideas

Creativity implies taking risks, challenging assumptions, exploring new ideas and experimenting.

Creativity is about gaining different ideas and learning from mistakes.

Creativity is also about being able to look at a problem, research ideas and develop solutions.

Creativity involves looking at familiar things with a fresh eye, examining problems with an open mind, making connections, learning from mistakes and using imagination to explore new possibilities.

Creativity is about allowing children to make choices about how their learning.

Curiosity

Curiosity is about investigating

Curiosity is about having a thirst for learning at school and beyond.

Curiosity is about a desire to learn something new

Curiosity is about asking lots of questions

Curiosity is being interested and engaged in learning new things

Curiosity is using our thinking skills to be creative and critical.
