We teach phonics using the Little Wandle Letters and Sounds Revised programme, a systematic and engaging approach that builds children’s reading, writing and spelling skills step by step.
Through daily phonics lessons and carefully matched reading books, children develop the knowledge and confidence they need to become successful, lifelong readers.
We work closely with families to support reading at home and ensure every child has the best possible start on their reading journey enabling our pupils to become lifelong readers.
