At Bentley New Village Primary School, keeping children safe is of paramount importance to us. We believe that all children have the right to be safe and to learn. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.
We will ensure that:
- Every child’s welfare is a priority.
- All children, whatever their age, disability, gender, language, race, religious beliefs and/or sexual orientation have the right to be protected from harm.
- All suspicions and allegations of abuse will be taken seriously and responded to swiftly and appropriately.
- All staff and volunteers working at our school have a responsibility to report concerns to the Designated Leads for Safeguarding.
